About us
The Insurance Specialty Group (ISG) is a diverse and loyal group of professional Ontario brokers with significant capital resources. We are proud of our heritage and the fact that, while being a strong loyal group within, we have created strong contacts throughout the industry. We have exceptional relationships with all of our insurers and, because of this, are afforded leverage within those insurance companies.
Our collective human resources provide us some of the strongest minds in the brokerage community anywhere in, not only Ontario, but all of Canada. Our group, while geographically diverse, has a dynamic set of skills and talents.
We have access to over 150 insurance markets and products, offering virtually every product needed in the insurance marketplace today.
Currently, ten member offices make up the ISG Group with combined premium writings in excess of $400m.

Our history
Our illustrious member, Todd Rozon’s, father was a true broker of his time and believed that one of the best ways for brokers to succeed and prosper was to get together to discuss issues and processes of mutual concern. He believed fervently in broker dialogue and the sharing of information to better improve the operating efficiency of their offices as well as endeavoring to better understand the increasing complexities of the insurance companies and markets with whom they dealt.
And not only discussing business but enjoying each other’s company as well.
And so it was, in the early 1980’s, a group of like-minded brokers gathered over a two or three day period at the Rozon home in quaint and beautiful Alexandria, Ontario for what was believed to be, anecdotally in any event, the first meeting of the ‘Sunrise Group’ – the first group of its type in Canada. The name was changed to the Insurance Specialty Group in the mid- 90’s and was officially incorporated in 1998.
